Long time....

it seems like every time I come to the blog, its I'M Back!!!!  he he,

Well since the summer has passed, we have been making allot of changes to the Pousada, not only that but our home too. Daniel is slowly changing this house from the family beach place to our lovely home.  I have been here in Brazil now for two and a half years and wow what an amazing time it has been.  all good:)

The chocolate making is come to a halt, because we haven't had any cocoa.  in the time between December and now, we have had only a little amount of cocoa, so we are waiting till we have a good quantity then we will make the best chocolate to date.......watch this space!!!

I cannot begin to explain my relief of the temperature change. In the summer its really hot...like in really hot.  Some days I can´t handle the heat.  now in the winter it is much cooler...so are our heads.  we can think and do normal things, well at least I can.  :)

Don't know if you know, but I am also trying to make a Portuguese blog, same blog, different page, go have a look.  OK well that's it for now.  until soon..ish  :)

----WELCOME----

HELLO 2011

WOW...what a year so far.  its been great, loads of work to do, but it is worth it!!!  we are trying to go to South Africa sometime this year, so it´s all for the good.
The Island is very hot, but it´s humid as well which makes you feel like it is hotter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We made chocolate yesterday, it came out "delicioso".70% cacao!!!!
Later on today I will be making truffles.
Truffles = chocolate ball with a filling of 'cream of passion fruit and lemon'   say it with me.....mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm   :D

The islanders and sailer's love our chocolate, which is great for us.  The chocolate that we produce is a natural chocolate, is contains milk, sugar and cocoa.  we dont put in any preservatives in, to keep with the natural way of things!!  quite healthy, very little sugar, we are wanting to experiment making chocolate with out any sugar, which will be a very interesting experiment.

ahhh, so Daniel wants me to start writing this blog in Portuguese as well, so lets see what happens.  I cannot promise 100% grammer, but neither can the Brazilians!!! hehehehe  :)

Well much love and happiness....gotta get going,
we are going to have a 'feijoada' for lunch
today.......mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm  (again  :D)
